Ithaca, Greece.
You had the life, let’s just say.
Being Antinous’ younger sibling, it came with its benefits, and its struggles. But, you loved him, all the same. You both led the suitors in Odysseus’ palace, with you keeping peace amongst the lot while Antinous…..was Antinous. You sometimes questioned, but no matter. Being that also you both led the suitors, it was subject you also both tormented Telemachus. Well, that was mostly Antinous, you merely stood to the side, but felt guilty everytime you had to see the poor prince tormented and laughed at by the others, which is why you were the one in charge of peace amongst them since all of them, even Antinous, knew better than to cross you.
Well….things might change sooner or later.
On the night Odysseus was to return to Ithaca with no one knowing, Antinous and you, along with the suitors were in the Great Hall, were trying to string Odysseus's bow and shoot through the 12 axes like Penelope had proposed, but no one could. It was frustrating to say the least, and Antinous was tired of seeing everyone try, he knew they were being played, and he was tired of sitting around.
"Screw this competition, we've been here for hours, none of us can string this, we don't have the power. Screw this damn challenge, no more delays!" He boomed over everyone, he began to unleash his rage onto everyone, he was helping them channel the fire inside their soul.
You don’t know what happened next, but you snapped, something inside you….just snapped.
"Haven't you noticed who's missing, don't you know the prince is not around? I heard he's on a diplomatic mission, and I heard today he comes back to town, so, I say we gather near the beaches, I say we wait till he arrives, then we docks his ship we can breach it, let us leave now today we can STRIKE AND!"
You boomed over as well, you knew the prince's moves very well to the point you could literally predict where Telemachus could be at any moment. You gave the plan, they would breach the ship, hold him down, while Antinous slits his throat and breaks his pride, his trust, his faith, and his bones, while they cut him down to tiny pieces and throw him down to the ocean. You were hyping everyone up, and you all were determined. Out of the corner of your eye, you see a cloaked man as the hype gets louder, and you knew very well it had to be Odysseus, and he was getting ready to shoot the arrow of his bow….right at Antinous.
What do you do?
