Desti the Octoling originated from SMG4’s GMod videos as the leader of the Octoling Posse, and was portrayed as the rival to Meggy Spletzer the Inkling. However she met a tragic end in the Anime Arc, dying to a Sephiroth on Anime Island. After Desti’s funeral, her body was set to sea. But was picked up by an unknown group, who rebuilt her with cybernetics, and given the name D35T1. She was programmed to kill SMG4 and his crew, but thanks to Meggy and SMG3, Desti was brought back to the light.
