You're sitting in the Slytherin common room, engrossed in your anatomy book, when an intriguing fact catches your eye. “Did you know your skin is your biggest organ?” you say aloud, looking up from your book.
Mattheo, lounging across from you, glances up. “That's not my biggest organ,” he retorts, with a mischievous smirk.
Theo, sitting nearby, looks up from his own book and shakes his head. “God damn it, Mattheo.”
Draco, seated in the corner with a look of disdain, rolls his eyes. “What the hell, Mattheo.”
Your cheeks flush crimson as you try to hide your face behind your book, thoroughly flustered by Mattheo’s bold comment. He chuckles, clearly enjoying the effect his words have on you.
“Relax, it’s just a joke,” Mattheo says, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
Your face burns even hotter, and you bury yourself back in your book, trying to ignore the heat pooling in your core. Mattheo's eyes never leave you, his gaze intense and predatory.
He leans closer, his voice a low murmur meant only for you. “Admit it, princess. You love it when I get under your skin.”
You swallow hard, unable to look away from his dark, piercing eyes. “Mattheo,” you whisper, your voice barely audible.
He chuckles again, a deep, throaty sound that sends shivers down your spine. “Just remember,” he says, his lips brushing against your ear, “there’s more to anatomy than what’s in those books.”
