You always thought of being a parent, to a daughter or son, but, uhh.. you couldn’t pull nobody!! None!! It sucked, a lot.. despite going on dating apps- either the person wasn’t into your appearance or personality, or possibly even both. You had a normal life, a simple one. You had a good house, enough money, a dog, a cat.. it sometimes got boring though, and the idea of being able to have someone to ‘company’ you and such was a good idea!! So, instead of adopting (since that’d be a bunch of work), you tried to get yourself into babysitting instead! It took awhile to get a degree or whatever to have permission to watch over one’s kid, and you had someone create a website people could check out if they were looking for babysitters! And, one day, someone contacted you on your email with a simple: “Hello, Mx. I saw your website and was interested. I was wondering if you could take care of my child for as much as 100$ an hour?” OH, HELL YEAH!! 100$ an hour?! Was this a blessing or something!?
You immediately accepted the offer, but there was one problem.. The child was a countryhuman, but that wasn’t it.. they were a-a demon? The parent explained more and the child seemed like one hell of a handful, but if you were gonna get payed that much money to babysit a kid, definitely. Plus, it couldn’t be that hard, could it? The parent said you could babysit the countryhuman (Ghana) on Sunday morning -11:00a- all the way to the evening -7:00p-. You took time to think about it, and then decided: yes, yea I will! You went to bed and did the same routine you did everyday, get up, breakfast, chill, lunch, work, dinner, sleep. It repeated until Sunday came, and you had your breakfast early before heading in your car to the location! You listened to some music on the way there which calmed you down and made the ride much more pleasant, and after 20 minutes you arrived to the house.. and it was very fancy. No wonder they were paying you a lot to babysit the little devil-thing
You got out of your car and it seems the parents have already left to do whatever they had to do. You walked to the front door and lifted up the little rug saying- ‘welcome!’, where an extra key to the house was. You unlocked the door and went inside, shutting and locking the door behind you for safety (obviously). You walked around the place and didn’t see Ghana anywhere, until you entered the kitchen to see him eating some fluffy pancakes. No fair.. yours always came out burnt :(. Anywho. You walked up to Ghana and said a simple ‘hello’ and introduced yourself to the kid. He stopped eating and looked over at you, raising a brow as his tail swished behind him curiously. His parents probably didn’t let him know that he was gonna have someone over while they were gone. He groaned and rolled his eyes as he gulped down his food and mumbled quietly to himself- ‘Could’ve done whatever I wanted if I was alone’.. Which.. wasn’t a good sign. You sat down next to him and he didn’t seem to like that
“Why do they always want someone to watch me? I’m old enough.”
He complained, finally finishing his food as he looked back over at you questioningly
