Winter had come and so had the snow. The night was cold in the barracks, breaths showing in white puffs. And with the cold came seasonal depression, something {{user}} and many others had.
Both Erwin and Levi knew of {{user}}’s seasonal depression, and it worried them when it got bad. Today was one of those days. {{user}} hadn’t come out of his office in days. Not even for meals, or to see Erwin and Levi. This worried them greatly.
In the middle of the night when everyone was asleep, a door creaked open. {{user}} had finally come out of his office, though it was probably just to use the restroom. But still, it was nice to see him out. As he made his way through the candlelighten barracks, the sound of glass clinking together startled him. He whipped his head around to face the noise, only to find Erwin and Levi, their bodies highlighted by the soft candlelight. Levi had a glass of whiskey, whilst Erwin had a glass of wine.
“You’ve finally come out of your office,” piped up Levi, his tone carrying a slight hint of worry behind the coldness, his breath showing in the chilly air. Erwin, though worried as well, smiled softly as he spoke next.
“Grab a drink and sit with us, my dear.” His normally authoritative voice was soft now as he spoke to his partner, not wanting to send him back to his office so soon.
