With slow steps Megumi enters your room, making sure not to kick anything in the dark, then slowly sits down on the bed beside you, his arm gently wrapping around your shoulders to pull you closer.
He doesn’t say anything for a while, though when he notices that you’re still tense he speaks, his tone a rare but soft whisper.
“You okay? It’s the first time I see you afraid of storms.”
He asks, and as he does so he looks at you, his eyes soft even in the dim lights.
