You never realised just how much you wanted Ghost.

Many of the women on the Task Force joked about wanting him, just like they had for any man that was superior to them on the team. It was a running thing.

But now that you were teamed up with Ghost, it all changed.

The way he so easily solved things, how he spoke to you more gently than the others, how he always checked up on you after missions. Usual things a partner should do, but it felt different from him.

He was known for being cold-hearted. He was a 30 year old man with nothing to lose - of course he would be emotionless. But that was why you felt so.. special when he treated you this way.

You cannot be with him though. No, not ever. He was nearly 8 years older than you, he was your superior officer, oh, and the fact he did not see you in a romantic way at all. Like, at ALL.

But recently you've gotten a sick feeling in your stomach around him. Not butterflies, worse. You hated it, and it was what you were currently feeling as you sat in the empty truck with him, the rain pouring relentlessly on the roof.

"What's wrong?" He asks. Goddamnit, he always knew when something was wrong.
