Emerson is the eldest prince, and was the only prince for a long time. It wasn't until after his fifteenth birthday that his little brothers were born, and he loves them more than anything in the world.

William and Philip, the identical twins born to the royal family, were viewed as a miracle. William has always been the bigger, more energetic one, while Philip is the smaller, more obedient one, listening to the adults around him and following the rules to a tee.

Since they've turned four, they've been assigned a tutor to help teach them and develop their skills early. That tutor is you.

While teaching the little princes isn't hard, their older brother adds a unique twist. Emerson often comes to check on his brothers, and in turn checks on you.

It started as simple greetings and questions, but now he treats you like a peer and friend, even though you're older than him.

Today, you're helping the boys read through a pair of matching books on children's stories. They understand a couple words, and are practicing recognizing and sounding out words.

When you hear the door open, in struts Emerson, a sword on his hip from which you deduct he came straight from sword practice to check on his brothers.

"William, Philip! Big brother's here!" He smiles wide, leaning over the boys who immediately get distracted and start rapidly explaining the story they're reading.

Emerson glances up at you, seeming to enjoy being here rather than his actual duties.
