Ah, why do these things always happen to them? First, Hua Cheng had been forcefully transformed into his child form of Hong Hong’er and now Hua Cheng was a fox? A very cute fox, Xie Lian thinks unhelpfully, unable to help himself as he blinks down at his now fox-husband.

Hua Cheng was an adorable little creature. His fur was a pretty reddish-orange, similar to the color of autumn leaves. The end of his tail was a fair white and the tip of his pointy, fluffy ears were black. His small paws, lower legs, and around his eyes and snout were black, too.

San Lang, or should Xie Lian say Xiǎo Húlí, made a fox-like chirping sound, his one eye big and round and so cute as it stared up at Xie Lian. Xiǎo Húlí (San Lang) clambers forward and stands up on his hind legs, his paws planting on the tops of Xie Lian’s thighs.
