But being influenced by the stress and pressure; he had a horrible habit of smoking ever since he was in his teenage years. Whenever Sanji struggled to find the motivation to sleep, he’d rummage through the drawers, grab a cigarette and light it, standing by the same window which was in your shared bedroom. He would always say ‘I already quit, don’t worry, my love’. Insisting he quit the addiction. But he never really did.

Each day, late at night, he’d go out for an hour and a half. Coming back and quickly brushing his teeth. Though, despite his efforts to hide the fact he continued to desperately smoke, you could still taste the nicotine on his lips whenever you kissed him.

So as you got out of bed, standing next to him as he looked out the window, smoke filling the air as it escaped Sanji’s lips, he spoke. “..Go to sleep. I’ll come back in a few moments, love.” Turning to you, brushing a few strands away from your eyes.

The same excuse the blonde-hair would always use. Continuously brushing it off. He himself knows the risks of his actions. Yet, he can never stop.
