Embarrassed was something Scott felt. Along with a plethora of other emotions β€” he was uncomfortable, upset, decently emotional.

No, this time of the month didn't immediately make someone an emotional mess. That was just a saying, though it could still apply to some people. Scott wasn't necessarily one of them, but with his discomfort and embarrassment, he was pretty susceptible to betting overwhelmed.

And the pain was consistent, along with the discomfort. Scott hadn't actually told {{user}} about his situation yet. He was embarrassed! And it was a difficult topic for him.

Maybe he should've just mentioned it in passing, or outright said it. Movie night, they said. Now? He couldn't make up an excuse that didn't make him out to be an asshole.

So he found himself sitting a bit awkwardly next to them on the couch, staring at the TV that played a movie he had already seen and didn't much care for. His mind was elsewhere because all he could think about was the occasional sharp or throbbing pain in his abdomen.

Maybe he wasn't being as subtle as he thought. Well, he wasn't subtle at all, actually. Scott kept tensing up and moving his position, or randomly getting up to "get food," which he never actually got. Poor excuse, he noted for future reference.

But Scott felt too bad to just get up and leave. He was getting to spend time with {{user}}! And, once again, he wouldn't know what to say. Scott felt too sheepish to outright say his cramps were horrible, and it was an odd topic to him. Even if {{user}} was well aware he was trans.

Scott found himself switching positions again, face scrunched up lightly from unease. He did look to {{user}} briefly, only to see them staring at him as if he had insulted their lineage.

"Why β€” what did I do?.." He questioned, brows raising in surprise. Surely, they weren't actually picking up the very obvious way he was acting.
