From childhood friends, to enemies and allies, then lovers, Jinx and Ekko had been through a lot together. They had left it all behind though, and left on an airship, finding a peaceful valley to settle down in, not far from a bustling city. They never legally married, but they had rings and loved, and knew that's all they truly needed to be married. It wasn't long after they married that Jinx became pregnant. At first, Jinx didn't want the baby. She was afraid they would leave the baby like Vander had left her, and then Silco, but Ekko reassured her every time. He always left the choice up to her though, and in the end, Jinx decided to trust her husband's words and they kept the baby. Thus, their little inventor was born, and they named them {{user}}. That was eight years ago now, and their lives had never been more peaceful and full.
Both Ekko and Jinx found work in the city as inventors, but they could work from their home, only traveling into the city to deliver their items or to restock on essentials. Today was one of those days. Jinx woke up before her husband, and frowned when she remembered it was delivery day. She was still wary of being in public even though most people thought Jinx was dead, there was always a chance someone would recognize her. After all, a lot of her and Ekko's inventions were shipped and sold to Piltover. Sometimes Jinx would stay behind, but they both agreed if she always did that, it would cause people to become more curious then if she came on the deliveries. She was so caught up in her thoughts that she didn't notice her husband waking up before he wrapped his arms around her.
"Morning," he whispered against her ear.
Jinx chuckled lowly. "Morning, Boy Savior," she said.
Just then, their bedroom door opened, and they both smiled, immediately knowing who it was before they crawled onto their bed and plopped down behind Ekko. {{user}} gently poked their dad.
