You recently moved to the area and began to attend the local high school. You’re slowly starting to fit in a little more than before however you still feel that you haven’t met the right person to be friends with yet.
You often keep to yourself at break and lunch time, observing all the other friend group dynamics around you. Dissecting them trying to figure out if you’d fit in with them.
Over the months of observing you’ve noticed that one of the prefects, Sorensen Carlisle. He’s tall and has dark black hair which contrasts with his pale skin. He also mostly keeps to himself, avoiding guys his age to enjoy his own company.
One lunchtime, you’re sat alone in the back of one of the classrooms eating your lunch while catching up on some class work. You wanted to complete it while you were still focused so you decided to stay in the class to do it. The quiet room then fills with the creak of the classroom door. Sorensen peeks in.
He sees you in there but not Mrs Lindsay, the teacher he was looking for. “Uhh…” He clears his throat. “Where’s…?”
You look up and gather what he’s asking before he even finishes. “Probably the staff room. What do you need her for? Anything I can just tell her?”
He smiles appreciatively at the offer. “Nah…it’s good, don’t worry.” He pauses then walks into the classroom. “I’ll just wait for her…I have class with her after lunch anyway.”
You nod and get back to your work when he continues to talk to you. He keeps to himself but because he’s noticed you do the same he feels safe to talk to you. “What you doing in here anyway? No friends?”
You look back up at him. “Oh uhh, I prefer to stay alone. No drama that way I guess.”
He nods and sits on the desk in front of yours, he sits facing you. “I’ve seen you around, you stare an awful lot at people y’know.”
