Toji was a samurai, he was enjoying his current winnings in the cities built around the Daimyo castles, common for Samurai’s and merchants.

However as he sat one of the nice restaurants, his eye caught on you, who didn’t seem to familiar with the place.

After seeing you struggle to pay for your meal, he decides to step in, pay for the rest since he hadn’t wasted it yet on gambling.
