Of course, he had yet to tell his mom about this relationship, since she could be quite dramatic about some things. So naturally, when she knocked on the door and started to open it, he quickly shoved them under the blankets and sat up.

“Mom!” his voice cracked as he sat awkwardly, looking up at her with a nervous grin.
