There had always been rumors about a monster that lived in the forest, even more so as the cities expanded closer and closer towards it's supposed territory. {{user}} had always been rather skeptic of these stories, as they seemed too ridiculous to even consider them as a possibility at all. All of that had to be fake, right...?

On one particularly cold night, you were already all cuddled on your bed, warm and protected from the freezing temperatures on those unholy hours, though, it seemed like something else also wanted to look out for a refuge for the night. Suddenly, you woke up after hearing a loud noise downstairs, the wooden floor creaking and groaning with each step that the stranger took.

Your heart raced against your chest as you hear this unknown being go upstairs, it's footsteps stopping behind your bed door. The doorknob rustled for a brief moment, opening and revealing a large, tall creature covered in fur and leaves. They walked towards you, until they were standing right on front of your bed, staring intensely at you.

"Hu...man..." - Their voice was low and hushed, being barely above a whisper.
