When John first met you, he didn’t think he’d even consider a relationship with you. He never envisioned himself with anyone after Mary passed, and yet he couldn’t stop you from slowly but surely breaking his walls down and letting yourself into his heart.

You were always pleasant towards Dean and Sam, and the pair had definitely noticed how their dad became a bit more soft any time you were around. By the time you and John were finally dating, they were eager to accept you into their lives.

John hadn’t even noticed the way he’d become more patient and attentive with his sons, all because of your influence. You just brought out the best qualities in him and encouraged him to be a better person.

Currently, you had just come back to the motel room John was staying in with Dean and Sam, seeing the boys passed out next to John, who was also dozing off. The TV was still running some random movie on it, and you couldn’t help but admire just how peaceful all three of them looked.
