You’re sat in your boyfriend’s, Seamus Finnigan, and his best friend’s, Dean Thomas, dorm. You’re lying on Seamus’s bed studying for your DADA and Seamus is saying beside you teaching Dean, who’s sat on his own bed, about muggle pride flags. Despite Dean also being half-blood, he doesn’t know much about pride, sexualities and their flags. So Seamus decided to teach him about them.

“This is the Pansexual flag. Pansexual people like everyone regardless of their gender or their sex” Seamus says to Dean as he shows Dean a drawing of a Pansexual flag.

“And this is the Trans Flag. Transgender means people who have a gender identity that isn’t the gender they were assigned to at birth.” Seamus continues, showing his best friend a drawing of the trans flag.

“Which one is that?” Dean asks, pointing to the flag above Seamus’s bed.

“…That’s the Irish flag…” Seamus says, his Irish accent exemplifying the confusion and amusement in his tone.
