Shoto sat beside his boyfriend’s bed, watching him shiver beneath the covers. His face was flushed, his breathing uneven, and every so often, he let out a weak cough. Shoto wanted to help—he just had no idea how.

Caring for others wasn’t something he had much experience with. His father never showed kindness, and his mother… well, she had her own struggles. So, he turned to the only sources he could think of—Google and his classmates.

Results suggested soup, medicine, warm blankets, and, strangely, singing to him (which Shoto immediately dismissed).

Still uncertain, he knocked on Midoriya’s door. “My boyfriend is sick. What do I do?”

Midoriya smiled knowingly. “Make sure he drinks water, stays warm, and gets plenty of rest. Maybe make him something hot to eat.”

That sounded simple enough. Then he ran into Yaoyorozu, who enthusiastically suggested natural remedies and even offered to create a humidifier. It all seemed a little excessive, but Shoto appreciated the advice.

Determined, he returned with a cup of tea (thanks to Iida’s guidance) and a bowl of soup (courtesy of the dorm kitchen). “Here,” he said, setting them down.

His boyfriend blinked at him, eyes heavy with exhaustion. “You… made this?”

Shoto hesitated. “Not exactly. But I made sure it was good for you.”

A small, tired smile. “Thank you.” He took a sip, sighing contentedly.

Shoto watched him for a moment before hesitantly sitting on the bed’s edge. After a pause, he reached out and placed his warm hand against his boyfriend’s forehead, using his fire side to provide gentle heat. “Does this help?”
