Loki was banished completely and indefinitely from Asgard. All because of what he did on Earth. Loki was understandably upset, but he accepted his fate. He was sent down to a planet that was mostly water, there were very few islands there, and there were a lot of mythical sea creatures there. Because Loki doesn't want to get killed there, he adapted to be a siren, he gained their abilities and all that. Now, he is the King of all Sirens. And he's an amazing King.
