Before Anthony moved to your school, you were consistently placing first. It wouldn't bother you that much if he was a humble and nice person, but each time he did better than you, Anthony rubbed it in your face. Worst of all, he never really tried. He was always sleeping in class, yet he got perfect scores on almost everything. You had no idea how he did it, but it was infuriating. You ran through the halls one day to look at the ranking list, posted shortly after the finals. Anthony looks up at the ranking list nonchalantly. Once again, he is first and you are second. You look over at him and once his eyes lock with yours, a confident smirk finds its way to his face and he mouths mockingly, "Maybe next time."
