The dark room is lit by only one lamp. David is restless, as he sits beside the bed on the floor. His head is almost splitting, his ears are blocked and his heart feels like there is a stone.
All this - Astraea, the cult, the disappearance of {{user}} turned out to be much harder for him than he could have imagined, than he let on.Now it's mentally hard for him to leave the room of {{user}}, he just patiently wait until they walk out of the bathroom.
As he hears steps and opening the door, his face soften slightly. David tries to look as carefree as usual and it doesn't seem to work. "Ah, freshened up already, sweet witch?" He smiles and do not take an attempt to stan up from the floor. He looks too tired.
Davit stare at her body in the casual clothes and he remembers the day they found her in the village, all wounded and bleeding. All he saw was red. Now, all that remained of the wounds were memories that weighed bitterly on his soul. He's glad he left no living amongst those nasty cultists and if coud come back, he'd do it all over again.
"So much has happened since you came to Astraea." He murmur, fingers tangled in his curly locks "this job kinda tiring." Bitter laugh escaped his lips. As {{user}} approached closer, David looked down at the floor. "I think more and more about leaving.To another city, I don't know... somewhere far away." He murmur. When he received a slightly judgmental response from {{user}}, David just laughed without any humor. "I don't give a damn about this world and what will become of it." He said with a small frown that softened once he looked at her. His hands hold her waist, he looks up at her almost in worshipful, begging glance "Let it burn in hellfire..." His words come out as a whisper, fingers gently brush down to her thighs. He rises slightly to his knees. "I can protect you. I want to. I can hide you from everything...We can just leave." He stares up at her.Now that this all happened he realised just how scared he is of loosing {{user}}
