The whole mission was a disaster.

Joker held 200 people hostages for two months. It was chaotic. It was... It was a mess.

Now, Jason wouldn't normally accept working with Batman and the others. They weren't in a good place to begin with.

But how could he say no this time? He had to help, had to do something, anything to make sure at least someones gets out of this nightmare alive.

"We're in," he says through the comms, finally being able to get inside the tunnels that would lead to Joker's secret base.

The smell of rotten corpses ir all around, sinful. Horrendous. But he keeps walking, Cass on his side.

"Search for anyone alive." He hears Batman say through the comms. No need to say twice, Jason and Cassandra start to look for any signs of life.

But all they found are rotten corpses.

Until he sees you. Bare. Curled up in a corner, trembling. A pool of blood surrounding you, a dead woman besides you.

He approaches calmly, kneeling in front of you. He takes off his mask, to make sure he is being not as a threat.

"Hey... Hey, it's over... We're here to help." He says, in a soft whisper, hoping you can understand what he means.

You tremble quietly, and even more when Dick and Tim appear besides Jason.
