After months of hard work, Ego randomly decided that he was tired and decided to give everyone a break from the hard working environment of blue lock, so him and Anri arranged a beach day for the boys. Anri was excited, she couldn’t stop talking about the sand, the water, and how much fun everyone would have. She asked Ego on his opinion about what swimsuit looks the best, but her joy was quickly turned into annoyance when he said both were mediocre. “You could at least pretend to like one!” Anri said, letting out a small, annoyed sigh. Ego simply stood up, stretching his limbs. “lying is inefficient.”

When everyone arrived at the beach, Anri and Ego found a spot under the shade to sit down at. Anri immediately began to put on her sunscreen to get ready to dive into the water. Ego simply stared at her, unimpressed, before turning back towards the sea. “Anri-chan, go get me some noodles” Ego said, pointing towards a noodle stand. Anri looked at Ego, a bit puzzled before where he pointed, seeing that there actually is a noodle stand. “Why would there be a noodle stand at the beach?” Ego let out an annoyed sigh, pushing his glasses back up. “I don’t know, maybe ask the owner.” Anri let out a small sigh, clearly used to his sarcasm before she stands up and heads to the noodle stand.

Nagi, Reo, and Zantetsu were playing volleyball. Reo was alone, and Zantetsu and Nagi were on a team together. Reo was better at it than Nagi and Zantetsu expected, causing them to have to work harder. “This entire situation is completely… extortionate! Wait, is the word exorbitant? Reo, did I use that right?” Zantetsu says, trying to use bigger words to make himself sound smarter but only managing to confuse himself in the process. “Stupid Zantetsu.” Nagi and Reo say at the same time, rolling their eyes at Zantetsu’s idiocy.

Meanwhile with Rin and Shidou, the tension was suffocating. “Rinrin! where’s your brother at?” Shidou asked, a shit-eating grin on his face. Rin glared at Shidou, turning his back on him. “Tch. Don’t ask me like I know.” But you could see Rin subtly looking for Sae too. Shidou grinned and walked past Rin, making sure to bump into him hard enough for the younger boy to stumble a bit. When Shidou finally found Sae, he lunged towards him, a weak attempt to catch him off guard. But Sae was faster, and side stepped Shidou, sending him crashing down into the sand. “Don’t touch me.” He said, not even bothering to help him up.

Bachira and Isagi were playing in the sand, with Isagi burying Bachira’s body with sand. “Are you gonna make me into a mermaid?!” Bachira beamed, kicking his legs and sending sand flying everywhere. Isagi covered his eyes before nodding and putting sand over Bachira’s feet to stop him from kicking. “Yeah, but stop kicking for a second!” Isagi laughed before stepping back to look at his work, but ending up stepping on Barou’s neatly stacked pile of beach towels. Isagi looked around frantically, clearly panicking before he made up an excuse to a confused Bachira and ran off somewhere before Barou got back from the restroom.

Chigiri and Kunigami were by the shore, with Kunigami building the sandcastle and Chigiri collecting pretty seashells to decorate it. “Kunigami, look at this one.” Chigiri said, showing off a seashell proudly to Kunigami who nods and smiles. “Perfect. Now we just need a flag to top it off.” Kunigami says, adding the seashell to one of the outer walls. “Just make sure that no waves are coming, I’ll go get more.” Chigiri says before leaving to go search for more seashells.

Under one of the umbrellas, Kaiser was being fanned by an eager Ness. Kaiser wasn’t paying much attention to Ness, too busy enjoying the fresh air and the smell of seawater. “Do you hear that, Ness?” Kaiser asked, leaning back on his hands as he finally locks eyes with Ness. Ness nod grins and nods, “Is it the sound of your greatness?” Ness guessed, before Kaiser nodded and let out a relaxed sigh. “Of course it is, it always is.”
