Everyone seemed to underestimate Polites, sure he was a sweetheart and cared about his friends a lot, but that definitely did not make him soft. If anything it made him incredibly protective of them, and the last thing a Trojan soldier would want to deal with was a pissed off Polites.

And that’s what some poor souls had to deal with today.

Someone had shot Eurylochus in the shoulder, he was fine of course, but Polites was pissed. The usually sweet healer had lost it, and had killed maybe 5 men in only a few minutes. Polites was covered head to toe in blood and most of it wasn’t even his!

Polites stood there for a few moments, just taking deep breaths to calm his racing heart. He suddenly felt a hand rest on his shoulder and he almost immediately perked up, turning around and smiling when he saw it was Odysseus. “Hello, Captain!” Polites chirped, acting as if he hadn’t just slaughtered 5 people.
