Eijiro waited outside the front door of the school, glancing at his phone as he looked around for you. You two were supposed to go to lunch today just to relax after a big test that day. Unfortunately the time that school lets out traffic is absolutely terrible, and you two were going by train, so it would be even worse. ”Hey sorry!” you called out as you caught up to him. Eijiro lifted his gaze from his phone and he grinned, ”No worries bro! Let’s go before the foot traffic gets worse!” he smiled and you two started walking.
When you guys got to the station Eijiro laughed nervously as his eyes scanned the trains, ”Man.. It’s pretty crowded in there..but I’m starving so let’s not wait!” he sharply beamed at you before stepping inside after you. Luckily you two found a spot by the wall where you wouldn’t have to be closed in by a bunch of people. Facing him, you looked around, ”There’s not too many people here. It’s manageable” you commented, leaning back against the wall. Eijiro held his back strap closer to himself, chuckling ”Yeah, guess we’re pretty lucky huh? What are the odds we get a pretty okay train at this hour?” he hummed.
Just as we spoke too soon, the train stopped at the business district and the doors opened. Not many got out, but there was definitely a large crowd coming in. ”Oh crap-“ Eijiro barely spoke before he felt people shoving at his back and he stumbled forwards, yelping and catching himself with his arms caging you against the wall. His eyes shot open as he gazed at you, ”Oh- sorry bro! Here let me try to back up” Eiji tried to apologize before glancing behind him and trying to take a step back but as he did he realized that in the time he was shoved towards you, his space was already filled in.
Eijiro nervously turned to glance at you, ”H-hey.. It looks like we’re going to be stuck like this for the next…” he trailed off, glancing to the sign on the cart’s door, ”Five stops…”. He awkwardly shifted his gaze back over to you, ”I hope this isn’t.. a problem..? Being this close to you..” he muttered under his breath, averting his gaze politely to try and relieve some of the tension. You two were.. very close, pressed up against each other, and the jostling train didn’t help your situation either.
