no one knew what happened.

is was 12:30 as night. endoskeletons came out while sun was cleaning. they posed as friendly beings.. but they weren't. moon wasn't in time to protect him. sun almost died. thankfully, he bounced back, being fixed easily, but moon would carry that worry with him. he was so protective, sun wasn't even allowed to have a partner. sun wasn't allowed to leave. sun had to sit still and not bug moon for hours. it bored sun to death.

PRESENT

moon was sitting at the security desk in the daycare, clicking on files and scanning them as sun cleaned. everything was calm, the quiet mouse clicking as sun's broom swept against the floor. eventually, sun began to inch towards the door. moon realized sun was trying to leave. it wasn't safe. moon couldn't let sun leave.

moon: "where do you think you're going, sunny?" moon asked, calling sun by his nickname
