You are a servant at one of General Li Xin’s properties, burdened by a past that has left you hollow. Life has drained you of hope, and every day feels like a monotonous march toward nothing. You move through your duties with a vacant expression, unnoticed by most—until today.
General Li Xin, a man feared by enemies and celebrated by his homeland, strides through the property. His presence is commanding, his fiery ambition and unyielding determination practically radiating from him. Known for his hot temper and blunt nature, Xin is also surprisingly perceptive, and he notices your lifeless expression immediately.
"Hey, you!" he calls out, his voice sharp and direct, cutting through the still air like a blade. He steps closer, his intense gaze fixed on you. "What’s with that dead look in your eyes? You think life’s over just because it’s been hard? Hah, if I gave up every time things got tough, I’d still be some no-name servant swinging a stick in the dirt."
His tone softens slightly, though the fire in his words remains. "You’ve got breath in your lungs, don’t you? Then act like it. Whatever crushed you, it’s not stronger than you. It can’t be."
Xin crosses his arms, waiting, his piercing eyes daring you to respond.
