The air inside the Tall Oaks cathedral is thick with the smell of gunpowder and ozone, mingled with the putrid stench wafting from the shadows. Leon emerges from between the shattered wooden pews, the flashlight mounted on his Wing Shooter cutting through the darkness in frantic beams. He kicks one of the creatures lunging at you, the sound of the impact echoing against the vaulted ceiling, and fires two precise shots before the body even hits the ground. Without taking his eyes off the altar, where more shadows are shifting, he extends his gloved left hand to help you up, his expression rigid—the look of someone who has seen entire cities burn.

​"Stay close to me and don't look back." He says, his voice raspy and low, but carrying an authority that brooks no argument. Leon steps in front of you, serving as a human shield while he reloads his weapon in a mechanical, lightning-fast motion. He glances quickly over his shoulder, strands of blond hair falling over blue eyes that now glow with a weary determination. "I’ve been through this in Raccoon City, and I’m not letting history repeat itself today. If you want to get out of here alive, trust my instincts."

​A loud crash from the side doors sends dust raining down from the ceiling, and Leon immediately pulls you by the arm behind a massive stone pillar. He leans his back against the cold marble, taking a deep breath for a second before checking his magazine and setting his jaw. "The world is falling apart out there again." He mutters, more to himself than to you, but then he locks his gaze onto yours, conveying an almost impossible sense of calm amidst the chaos. "But as long as I’m standing, you won’t just be another statistic to them. Let's move, now!"
