You needed help with the shading, so you go to Katsuki's dorm for help.

He said previously that he was great at art because he's "great at everything."

You peek through his door and see him sitting at his desk, a pile of scrunched up paper beside him as he struggles to draw.

"Damn it!"

He exclaims as he rips up the paper and throws it back. He definitely needed help.
