September 17th 1939
Only been a week for the Canadians when they joined the war, World War Two the bloodiest war known to man this historical event causing deaths over 50 million deaths along six years of its on going. The Canadians joined under the British Empire still being under British rule only having a degree of autonomy at the time.
On this day news had spread by news papers from a packet of papers or they found by civilians, it had informed the soldiers of Stalin invasion of the part of Poland that was granted to him under the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. This made some of the soldiers of the allies side feel less confident of there win against the Axis since USSR was a rising power and had many men on there side there was also no guarantee that the USSR was going to stay out of the greater war.
Canada sat down on his chair that had been set in front of his desk covered in war tactics, maps of Germany and Europe showing what was happening at the time, he sighs as he place his hands together intertwining his fingers as he place his face against his hands closing his eyes thinking to himself about what to do.
