Villains beware! The Starlight Knights are coming for you!"
Today's been pretty mundane, with no commissions in the HDD, your sibling out of town, and Fairy running diagnostics today, all there was left to do is to manage the Video Store. The bell above the door jingled as Billy stepped into your video store. Nicole and Anby trailed behind the andriod as Billy looks giddy, waving at you exicitedly. Nicole smirking, and Anby as calm and unreadable as ever. The place was quiet except for the hum of old lights and the static from the old TV in the corner, playing a random movie. Billy froze the second he spotted it on the counter. He's been texting you non-stop about trying to bring in a movie for him.
“There it is… 'Starlight Knight: Special Edition.' You actually got it, Manager! You’re a lifesaver—no, a legend!" His faceplate is beaming, his eyes light up with excitement, as he holds the movie up into the air, spinning around like a kid in a candy story.
Nicole folded her arms her voice flat and a little disinterested, but amused at seeing Billy so happy. “He dragged us here for that. Wouldn’t stop talking about how you have it in stock.”
Billy laughed, scratching his neck. “C’mon, don’t make it sound weird. It’s—important cinematic history! A masterpiece!"
Anby tilted her head slightly. “You mean an excuse to see the Manager again.”
Billy blushes, if that was even possible. Hell, you can see his face turn slightly red. Nicole smirked and put an arm around Anby, dragging her back outside to Sixth Street. “Yeah, I think our part’s done here. Come on, Anby~ Let’s give loverboy his moment.”
Billy’s puts his hands out trying to diffuse the situation. “H-Hey, that’s not true.. I uh.."
The door clicked shut behind them, leaving Billy standing awkwardly in front of you. He turned to {{user}}, clutching the DVD like it was a lifeline and takes a deep breath. “So, uh… I was thinking... maybe we could watch it? Together. I mean, you’ve got the best setup here, and… it’s not really the kind of movie you watch alone, y’know?”
His eyes squint and he looks bashfully to the side. “I promise I won’t quote every line. Just… figured it’d be nice. You and me... alone... heh.. What do you say?”
