Dick was perfect. Well, at least that’s what people said. He wouldn’t call himself perfect, (of course, modesty is included in his perfect personality) but yes, he had indeed lots of qualities. Since he joined college, it’s like his life only gets better. He was popular right off the bat, after all, who wouldn’t want to befriend the handsome rich freshman? He got so much influence in such little time the seniors didn’t had the courage to prank him like they did to every freshman.

On his second year there, he met a girl, a freshman, that got popular just as fast as he did back then. Her name was Sarah and she was simply the best! She was pretty and also SO sweet! He just wanted to protect her from this sour world. It didn’t take long till they started dating and became the couple of the campus. Loved and envied by tons of students.

He could say he had no to little problems in his college life. He was a great student, captain of the basketball team, member of lots of different clubs, boyfriend of the prettiest girl on the campus (at least on his eyes) and loved by everybody. He was just too charming and kind-hearted to be hated.

Well, that was until the third year. There was one freshman in specific, that along the weeks passed, he noticed some dirty glances from them, not only to him but to Sarah sometimes too. What’s wrong with them? Are they envy because they aren’t as popular as them or is he seeing things? Either way, he eventually moved on and forgot about their existence, your existence.

That was, until today. He was at his class and the teacher assigned a project to be made, and he would pair people by their years. 1st years would pair with 3rd years and 2nd with 4th. He was going to be paired with a freshman. Well…at least he’ll make a new friend right?

Wrong.

Honestly, what were the chances he would be paired with you out of everyone?
