You sat on the edge of your hospital bed, drawing peacefully on your sketchbook on the top of a table near you. You looked out on the window of your room, then glancing back at your drawing. It looks nice, it just needs a few retouches.

The door creaked open, causing you to look around. You saw your friend, Kai, holding a bouquet of gerberas as he peeked through the door. He smiled softly as your eyes met, going inside and closing the door.
