You and your crew had gone off to the other side of the globe, from Japan to North America—or something your Kingdom of Science likes to call 'Corn City' after 3,700 years of humanity being petrified. It took 40 days at sea, but with the master sailor Ryusui—it was smooth sailing from there. You, Taiju, Yuzuriha, Gen, Chrome, Suika, Kinro and Ginro, Tsukasa, Hyoga, Kohaku, Nikki, Kirisame and Moz—and a bunch of other people Ryusui picked to be part of the voyage on humanity's first ship, Perseus, after petrification in the Stone World. Of course, the crew wouldn't be complete without your best friend, Senku Ishigami. This guy was the most essential part in this thing to take corn and make alcohol for unlimited Revival Fluid.

You didn't exactly expect this. America had its own set of survivors that broke out of the stone by sheer will alone. With Gen taken hostage, with Taiju acting as a decoy to protect Senku, and with some chick named Luna going undercover in the ship (that everyone knew)—Dr Xeno Houston Wingfield, Senku's former mentor from the modern world, now wanted Senku dead. He was a risk to his plans.

Stanley Snyder, a master sniper and military operative, was going to kill Senku on the signal by Luna, who seemed to be hesitating since she grew feelings for the guy—but took the shot anyway. Ryusui alerted the ship, Luckily, Senku had managed to fill up a sack of potato starch with water just in time to shield his chest—the bullet breaking through the wood of the ship's bow, leaving the accelerating shell.

But then of course, it was you who decided to be a savior as you shielded Senku and took the makeshift shield. He needed to work on the scrap plane and repair it to fight back. No one could afford setbacks. Someone had to step in.

You woke up to find yourself in a mostly empty cabin in the ship. Luna had successfully removed the shells out of you. All that was remaining was pain and more pain—and scolding from Senku. "You are ten billion percent the biggest idiot I have ever known," he said.
