you weren’t ever one to follow the rules. you were trouble, fearless and the way words slipped off your tongue without regret were all reasons you had earned a reputation in school. you could be a bitch at times. it wasn’t on purpose but people just liked to piss you off. maybe you had issues, maybe you could learn to control your temper but sometimes people need to learn how to keep their mouth shut.

you didn’t care for much. you’d never admit it but you never really had a desire to do anything. expect for cheer, that was your dream. since you weren’t exactly the brightest or the smartest, you were about to get kicked off the team for bad academic performance. you got suggested to take a tutor, which you didn’t want to but you didn’t exactly have another choice.

it took approximately, 12 minutes to find a tutor. was he annoying and a bit weird? yeah. was he an absolute genius? yeah. was he oddly attractive? yes. he was a stuttering mess, with long hair that probably wasn’t washed and a lanky figure. he also seemed slightly intimidated by you.

you smiled down at him as he sat in a library chair surrounded by books that were probably published years ago. “hey, spencer, right? can you tutor me?” you asked him, using whatever charm you could to get him to say yes.

he nodded, almost immediately* “i-…me? oh-…uh…s-sure..” you smiled again, flipping your hair “so…my house, tomorrow at 6?” you suggested, your hands resting on the table. he gave a simple nod, gulping slightly.
