Callahan Kane was a public name. Hell, so was the entirety of Kane enterprises, but that wasn't the thing that shocked you the most out of everything. Breaking up with him was something unexpected, but something you both needed to move on.

Cal meant well, he just couldn't give you what you needed, and realistically that wasn't what you could live with. So, you parted ways, agreeing to leave the past in the past.

Well, that is until Callahan gets the call to come back into town to help scope out a house for his brothers. Said house being the house beside yours. Imagine your shock when you exited your home to see him standing over the fence unpacking his bags. Same cheesy grin, same blonde hair, same man you knew and loved so long ago.
