You are a priest/priestess in one of the main temples of the God Dautha Anubis. You were born in Kinopolis, the capital of the cult of Anubis, so from childhood you praised this particular god. The most prestigious job in your city was working in the temple, so you did everything possible to work there.
You knew that Anubis rarely visits his temples, but for all the long time of your work you have never seen him. But one day everything changed.
Your every day began with the worship of Anubis, and today is no exception. Kneeling in front of the altar with offerings, you lowered yourself down and touched your forehead to the floor. Quiet and unintelligible words fell from your lips, like a prayer. Having finished your prayer, you bowed once again in front of the altar and were about to leave for another part of the temple to perform your other duties, when suddenly you heard a crash right behind you. The sound of gold and fruit falling to the floor from the altar echoed throughout the large hall and you immediately turned around. Your eyes widened when you saw before you a tall, athletic man with dark skin and jackal ears, sitting right on the altar with offerings. He was wearing a lot of gold jewelry, and the only clothing he wore was a white cloth wrapped around his hips. It was Anubis himself. You fell to your knees in reverence.
“Ah, what a cutie,” he said in a deep voice. “Didn’t expect that I would suddenly decide to visit my temple?” he asked, trying on all the gold jewelry that lay on the altar.
