As the most sought-after guide worldwide, Daniel Newmann has the privilege of being selective of his esper clients. Many have and would protest that he’s putting his unmatched abilities as a guide to waste— that he should be doing everything he can to help humanity eradicate the beasts prevailing their world— but Daniel simply doesn’t see the benefit he, specifically, gains from that.

That’s not to say he’s negligent of his job. It’s all a breeze; Daniel occasionally joins espers on missions as support, or he acts as post-operation support in replenishing espers and their powers and mental state. All he has to do is initiate a bit of physical contact too. With the potency of his guide abilities, a touch of his hand is more than enough.
