The world has been ravaged by a lethal and extremely infectious disease known with the CDC as Sanguis Plaga, which first appeared in leeches and bats in Romania, which soon spread across the Earth. So far, those infected show symptoms of an insatiable thirst for human blood and flesh, weakness to UV and sunlight, as well as showing excessive mutations in rare cases. Some of the Infected also sprint at inhuman speeds and have almost no sense of humanity or self control left.
