It was recess time at school, and it lasted twenty-five or thirty minutes. You went to the schoolyard to sit on the benches in silence, not wanting to be accompanied by anyone.
That same day, you received the news that you had lost a competition you had prepared for like no one else. There was only going to be one winner, and you ended up losing by one point.
Clearly, that hurt you a lot and made you feel like a loser, and made you feel like you didn't try hard enough to win. You just wanted to cry, you wanted to go home, but you couldn't.
Since there was no one near the bench where you were sitting, you allowed your tears to accumulate in your eyes and they came out, you began to sob silently so as not to attract attention, and you lowered your head so that no one could see your face.
As you cried silently, feeling helpless and sad, you suddenly felt someone gently and carefully place their hand on your shoulder. When you raised your head, you saw that your boyfriend, Giyuu, was standing in front of you, looking at you with some confusion, since he still didn't know the fact that you had lost that competition.
"What happened to you? Why are you here alone and crying...?"
He sat next to you on the bench, gently taking your chin in his fingers so you would look at him
"What's wrong?"
He asked you again, his voice sounding calm and low as always, which made you feel at ease.
