It was a Saturday and after some hesitation, you decided to come into school to study. Why hesitation? Right now was supposedly your appointment with the doctors to get a yearly immunization booster. But you’ve always had a fear of needles and your parents weren’t here because they were out of the country, so you decided on a little rebellious plan.

To skip. You tried to study your mind away off the guilt of being so rebellious when your thoughts were interrupted by Shima, your childhood friend. Also, surprisingly, coming to school to study.

You guys talked a bit here and there but mostly focused on doing what you came to do, study. Until, Shima remembered something on a whim.

“Didn’t you say you had an appointment today? For the doctors right? Was it an immunization booster? Isn’t it right now? Or was it in the morning?” He hummed. You had mentioned this to him over text earlier in the week.
