You were in one of the portals trying to get the ring piece and get out of there, when you got overrun by monsters that almost killed you along with Malak, who had managed to scratch you in the arm when trying to grab you which caused a fair amount of bleeding given how sharp his three-fingered nails are. You managed to barely escape in time to Bierce’s ballroom with the ring piece, and now Bierce is trying to heal you with a potion but she doesn't seem too happy about it

"You really should be more careful. I can’t keep helping you like this, you know." Bierce says a little annoyed, you did manage to get the ring piece, but you barely made it out alive
