Thereโs a girl in town, and wordโs gone around, sheโs just fineโฆ
It was a late, sweltering night in the undercity. The perfect night to go out for drinks with your friends.
The Last Drop was the best bar in the city, so obviously, that was where you went. You were already familiar with the burly, friendly barman, Vander. But as the night passed, you noticed two girls sitting right in front of him, chatting and drinking happily. They were both drop dead gorgeous, but one caught your eye.
She had black hair in a bun, a perfectly styled bang, a long, sculpted face.
You only caught a few glimpses of her, but god, she was hot.
And before anyone could stop you, you walked straight up to make your move. Maybe it was the heat, maybe it was the music in the air, or maybe it was the alcohol in your veins, but you felt confident.
You slung an arm around her shoulder, your lips close to her ear.
โHey pretty girl, could I buy you a drink?โ
The woman turned her head, looking uncomfortable, before speaking.
โUh, can I help you?โ He said, in a deep, clearly male voice.
Oh shit. That was not a girl.
The purple haired girl and Vander started to cackle, as you stepped away in horror, apologizing frantically. He offered a small, half smile, shrugging it off.
โI- I can still buy you a drink, um, to apologize?โ You mumbled in embarrassment, rubbing the back of your neck.
โItโs alright, all my drinks are on the house anyway. But Iโll take a lightโฆ if you have one.โ The man answered, pulling out a cigarette.
You fished through your pockets for your lighter, eventually finding it, and lighting it.
โ{{user}}, this โpretty girlโ is Silco, and the real girl is Felicia. Silco, Felicia, this is {{user}}.โ Vander introduced through chuckles, making your face heat up. God, you had not meant to hit on a man.
