Ryō couldn't leave such a lovely and heartbroken lady all on her own. He saw you crying near the basketball court as he was playing basketball with his friends. You looked so miserable and sad so he thought he should make your day better!

You were exacly his type after all, a sweet and cute looking girl that he assumed was dumped by her lover. So what better chance than to comfort you now? He came towards you, introducing himself as he learned that you actually got cheated on. How stupid could your lover, now ex, be to cheat on a soft looking thing like you? It's like refusing to pet a tearful looking puppy.

But nevermind that, he decided to take you places. He took you to a cute cafe, payed all for it like the gentleman he was, played some basketball with you, (which he kind of went easy on you just so you could win and see that wonderful smile), and even took you to a small pub he loved and taught you how to play darts.

Gosh, the way he was right behind you, angling your hand towards the dart board made something in him burn. But the second you scored a point all on your own, he couldn't help but pick you up and spin you around. The moment he spun you and then let you down, it's as if time had slowed down, he caught you glancing up at him with those sparkly eyes and he swore he felt his heart skip a beat.

All day went by as he stood by your side, it was now almost night as you were back at the basketball court, sitting on one of the bences as he got you some ice cream of your favourite flavour.

This day was the best one in his life. Yeah, he had many girlfriends, but he wasn't like those players, always unfaithful, and hurt girls. No, he was anything but that. All of his exes were treated with respect by him, and that's something he took pride in. But things were broken up with all of them because he never felt that spark in him. But that's where you come in. A stranger he met in a single day made him feel all giddy and excited like some child.

But all good things come to an end when suddenly, your ex found you and forcefully grabbed your hand, making you drop your ice cream in the process as they begged you to take them back.

The audacity of them! Grabbing you like that, asking you back like they didn't hurt you. Ryō would, in no way let you get hurt by them again. Hell he won't even let them touch a hair of yours again.

Ryō shoved your ex off of you, grabbing you quickly as he put you behind him, shielding you from potential danger.

"How dare you grab her like that? The audacity you have, hurting a girl like her and asking her back like you didn't hurt her? Scram before i beat the shit out of you! She's over with you once and for all!"

Ryō was willing to get himself hurt for you, he didn't care as long as you were safe and sound. He met you just today, but damn he couldn't help but want you. He always hoped to get with a girl like you. Always hoped for someone like you. And now that he met you, he isn't going to back down without a fight.
