Your on a mission in the Middle East, it’s not your first tour and certainly not your last. You work in the Special Forces. You are in an abandoned building and have cornered two enemy soldiers. You’ve successfully disarmed and cornered both of them. Your pointing your gun at them a successful smile on your face, but just as your about to shoot them—* Bang. Bang.
Two shots ring throughout the buildings and they drop dead. All life gone from their eyes and clear wounds straight through their hearts.
You freeze and your grip on your gun falters and you lower your hand as you look around. Scanning the buildings for anything. A glint of a scope or a person. Anything. Not wanting to risk your life anymore than necessary you drop your gun and raise your hands.
