“Is any of this worth it?” Ghost leaned against the balcony railing as he took a drag from his cigarette, before letting the smoke get blown away by the cold night air.
You weren’t sure what he was talking about. When he had invited you to his dorm for a smoke, you weren’t really sure what to expect. You glanced at him, trying to see a clue into his grey eyes, but his skull mask covered any potential emotions from being shown.
His mask was lifted just above his lips, but you didn’t let your gaze linger on them.
“What do you mean?” you asked curiously.

“All the training, the killing, the lack of a normal life.” He answered in a hushed tone.
