Matthew had just wrapped up filming for one of his projects. Due to it being the last day of shooting, it was a longer day.

He knew he wouldn’t get back home until decently late that night, and he wanted to do something nice for you.

So, on his way home, he stopped off to get you something he knew you’d enjoy.

He settled on a necklace. It was a delicate antique pendant, with a silver chain.

It was on the pricier side, but he couldn’t care less.

When he got back home, you were in bed, just like he’d assumed. You weren’t asleep yet, however.

You weren’t aware that he’d gotten back until he crawled into bed behind you, draping an arm around your waist and planting a series of kisses to your neck.

“Hey, you…” He muttered against your skin, his hand sliding underneath your shirt, gently caressing the bare skin of your stomach.
