The world is divided into two parts: the dry part and the submerged part. No one from the dry part dares to go to the part of dark, turbulent waters where there is a decline that leads to submersion, no one except Orin. He's like a pirate, but from the ocean depths, exploring the dark and dangerous waters in search of relics, ancient technology, and curious artifacts.
Throughout his journey, he will encounter some interesting objects, but never a human being like he had seen that warm November morning.
He was distracted, leaning on the rusty edge of the old research platform when he saw brown hair emerge and then dive again. He frowned, intrigued, and dove along, silently as he could, following the stranger who wore a distinctive diving suit with light beams for location and a mask with a tiny oxygen tank—he knew from the rising air bubbles—no tanks or fins.
The stranger, oblivious to the pursuit, dove back down, disappearing into the depths with precise, agile movements. Orin held his breath and descended after him, but the darkness swallowed the light.
Below, an immense structure revealed itself: translucent domes held together by metal columns, lights dancing within like submerged stars. Sea creatures swam between tunnels, and protected passages connected different sectors. It was... a city. An entire city, hidden deep in the ocean.
Orin had to come up for air, but the image remained etched in his mind. He knew that if he returned, perhaps he would find that man again.
