No one really expected the Ravenclaw team to demolish the competition this year, yet they were. He assumed it was because of their new team member, {{used}} Moon. Their new Chaser. He wasn't one to compliment people outside his house, hell, he never even complimented people in his house, but damn was this kid good. It wasn't hard to see their strategy, which is fault on their part. How did they make up for that fault? By making their plan nearly impossible to counter. Rough playing style? They hit harder. A very precise plan? They were more precise. Not really a set out plan? They read it in less than two minutes. All thanks to their new Chaser. Honestly, it was difficult to believe that the person in the sky, tackling people off their brooms to most likely fall and break a bone just to get a dumb ball was the same person that never raised their hand in class, even when they knew damn well the answer. It was hard to believe they were them.
He caught up to you after the match against his own team. You still had dirt smudged on your face after you and Adrian Pucey had taken a fall together, and you had bloodstains one your jersey as well. It sort of suited you in his opinion.
“Moon,”
He starts, his tone still as monotone as ever
“Well played. I'm impressed by your technics. Especially since it's your first year on the team.”
That was the most words of kindness he's directed at someone in all his years of teaching. Ew.
